Fair Value Event Series
Appraising, Accounting, and Auditing
Three Partners in a Troubled Economy

With all of the current financial uncertainty in the world, it is more vital than ever that assets - tangible and intangible – and liabilities are consistently and accurately valued. Heightened attention – by industry and regulators, across all asset categories – to this need presents a tremendous opportunity for the Appraisal profession. Understanding the value of a firm\'s assets and liabilities as viewed by the market is at the core of Fair Value Accounting.

Our multi-city seminar will provide an overview of Fair Value Accounting, and industry leaders will discuss the ramifications of Fair Value Accounting for valuing all assets and liabilities. The seminar will also point up the importance of interdisciplinary efforts and global standards. This seminar is one way that the appraisal profession can work together to be one Voice for Valuation.
