Chief Executive Officer role:
Louis Armstrong’s role is to deliver the strategic objectives and policies set by Governing Council and member committees working towards the vision of RICS becoming 'the mark of property professionalism worldwide'.
He works closely with each President, the senior elected Officers of the Institution and the 1,000 or so members actively involved in committees to establish priorities, programs, activities and services within the resources available.
A major part of his job is to raise the status of RICS and the profession by taking the lead role in external affairs, providing continuity, seniority and experience in a wide range of media, committee and conference activities, both in the UK and internationally. He also maintains an overview of RICS bi-lateral relationships with over 150 organizations and Institutions.
